Why Spend 10 Days in Seychelles?
Ten days gives you enough time for the three main islands without making every day a transfer day. It is also long enough to keep weather-sensitive activities flexible and enjoy the islands rather than simply ticking off attractions.
Days 1–3 — Mahé
Begin with three nights on Mahé, combining beaches, Victoria, mountain scenery, local cuisine and one memorable excursion. Keep a half-day free for whatever the weather brings.
Days 4–6 — Praslin
Move on to Praslin for three nights, exploring its beaches, Vallée de Mai and nearby islands or marine experiences. It also makes an excellent base for selected day trips.
Days 7–9 — La Digue
Give La Digue three nights rather than treating it only as a rushed day trip. Cycling, beaches, Anse Source d’Argent and the island’s quieter evening atmosphere all deserve unhurried time.
Day 10 — Return and Depart
Plan the return to Mahé around your international flight and allow a generous buffer. If your flight timing makes a same-day island connection uncomfortable, protect the schedule with a final night on Mahé instead.
